high-quality services \u2014 on par with those available for physical illness \u2014 no matter where or when they need them.<\/p><p>High-quality mental health services are<\/p><ul><li>stigma free<\/li><li>recovery oriented<\/li><li>evidence informed<\/li><li>culturally safe and linguistically appropriate<\/li><li>equitable and inclusive.<\/li><\/ul><h3><br \/>What are we doing?<\/h3><p>We are part of several initiatives, undertaken with other health-care organzations across Canada, that seek to increase access to high-quality mental health To further explore this relationship, we have developed several resources in collaboration with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partnershipagainstcancer.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Canadian Partnership Against Cancer<\/a>, including a <a href=\"https:\/\/mentalhealthcommission.ca\/resource\/preventing-and-managing-concurrent-mental-and-physical-conditions\">scoping review<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/mentalhealthcommission.ca\/resource\/quick-facts-mental-health-chronic-disease\/\">Quick Facts on Mental Health and Chronic Disease<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/mentalhealthcommission.ca\/resource\/quick-facts-mental-health-and-cancer\/\">Mental Health and Mental Health Care Network<\/a><\/p><p>In partnership with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.healthcarecan.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">HealthCareCAN<\/a>, we co-lead the Quality Mental Health Care Network, which has developed the Quality Mental Health Care Framework, a key tool in the development of leading practices in quality mental health In seeking to expand access to psychotherapies, the PPIN worked to align key stakeholders, support knowledge sharing, build consensus, and develop recommendations. Together with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.camh.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH)<\/a>, we worked with respected community agencies across Canada that were essential to the project\u2019s implementation.
