The data may be out of date.<\/em><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-what-is-stepped-care-2-0\">What is Stepped Care 2.0?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Developed by Dr. Peter Cornish, and championed by the Mental Health Commission of Canada (MHCC), <strong>Stepped Care 2.0\u00a9 (SC2.0) is a transformative model for the delivery of mental health and addictions services<\/strong>. SC2.0&#8217;s recovery-oriented approach provides quick and flexible access to a range of resources and services, including online options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SC2.0 is expanding across Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2017\u201318, SC2.0 contributed to a <a href=\"https:\/\/mentalhealthcommission.ca\/resource\/newfoundland-and-labrador-stepped-care-2-0-demonstration-project-final-report\/\">68% decrease in wait times for mental health and addictions services<\/a> in Newfoundland and Labrador. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-what-is-sc2-0-s-impact\">What is SC2.0\u2019s impact?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Helping service users:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">~70% rated the quality of e-mental health (e-MH) tools as \u201cgood\u201d or \u201cexcellent.\u201d<br>~80% reported that e-MH tools met at least some of their needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"635\" height=\"239\" src=\"https:\/\/mentalhealthcommission.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/SC2point0-PWLE-quote.png\" alt=\"On a medium green background, the following quote in black text is attributed to a person with lived experience.
